So my nail tech was absolutely amazing. She was patient, calming and sweet. Only problem is budding my visit. I mentioned it was my first time and was recommended to stop in. While we were talking she was already cutting my cuticles for what I believed was going to get just a gel manicure. Mid way I decided I would look better with a full set since I hadn’t done my nails in 3 months. She continues and at the end of the service when I asked “how much is this service today?she replied $71.00. I was first a bit shocked as I didn’t get a design or anything out do the normal. She then orocesss to tell me “oh I charged you $10.00 for the cuticle” to which I was deeply bothered by. I think if you are getting a “nail service” and already paying $60 -$65 for set service a nail cuticle maintenance is standard. I honestly think these businesses are looking for ways to up charge clients and this left a sore taste for the great service she provided cuz I didn’t feel like she was being transparent and I also felt like it was a bit oricey. Nonetheless, the complimentary drink and call atmosphere was a plus but the need threw me for a loop. I’m not so sure I’m gunna return.
